NEW YORK CITY — It was a cool morning at Metro-North’s East 125th Street Station in New York City on Nov. 28. One of the least remarked stations in the New York City Area, it offers a chance to see the morning rush hour unbridled. In less than two minutes, four trains, two diesel-powered, make their way to and from Grand Central Terminal. With almost 300,000 passengers a day, it only ranks behind the Long Island Rail Road as the number two commuter line in volume in the United States.
