OMAHA, Neb. — Union Pacific is launching an ad campaign on social media reminding drivers and pedestrians to use caution when approaching railroad tracks. The campaign will run on YouTube, Facebook, and Pandora.

Two new online commercials ask viewers “What is your life worth” and features a teenage boy racing a train to get his date home on time for curfew and a woman contemplating driving around crossing gates to get to an interview on time. In both scenarios the drivers stop before the crossing, realizing the dangers of what they almost did. In another set of commercials, UP reminds people that taking “selfies” around railroad tracks is dangerous.

A final commercial — being targeted at Pandora listeners in Chicago — reminds commuters to always turn down their headphones when near the railroad tracks.
