The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco will present a new exhibition devoted to the influence railroading had on Disney’s life and work.

“All Aboard: A Celebration of Walt’s Trains” will open Nov. 13 and be on display through Feb. 9, 2015. The exhibition will include more than 200 artifacts, firsthand accounts, archival videos, images and model trains to explore how Disney’s passion for trains developed and informed his career and personal life.

The exhibit will also explore the railroad interest of Disney’s friends and staff, including Ward Kimball and Ollie Johnston, part of the celebrated group of animators known as the “Nine Old Men,” and WED Enterprises “Imagineers” Roger Broggie and Bob Gurr, whose locomotives helped transport guest at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
