With current forecasts for Waukesha calling for a high of minus-10, a low of minus-29, and wind chills predicted to reach minus-51, the Trains Magazine offices, and all other Kalmbach Media operations, will be closed on Wednesday. The decision to close for a second day in a week is highly unusual — the company has had no weather-related closures for more than five years — but reflects management concerns about employee safety traveling to and from work.

News Wire postings and other matters requiring the staff to be in the office will reflect the closure.

Current plans are for us to resume normal operations on Thursday. Watch the Trains Facebook page for any updates. We thank you for your understanding.
