SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — A tank car train derailment near the western approach to Cajon Pass is forcing the evacuation of nearby businesses.

The Los Angeles times reports that a 13 tank cars derailed near Cajon Boulevard and Devore Road Tuesday morning. The newspaper cites police saying that two of the cars are leaking.

Police ordered evacuations as a precaution although they do not have specific evidence of a threat to public safety at this time.

It is not immediately clear which railroad's train was involved in the accident.
