BUCHAREST, Romania — A 21-year-old student was seriously injured when he climbed atop a train to take a selfie, touching the overhead electrical line in the process, the Associated Press reports.

According to a police spokeswoman, the theology student climbed onto the train, stopped at a station in central Romania on Thursday, and attempted to take a photo with his cellphone camera. He suffered serious burns and head injuries when he was thrown to the ground after receiving a strong shock from the electrical wire.
