CHICAGO — Metra will adjust Rock Island District service on Sunday, March 11, to accommodate expected crowds for the South Side Irish Parade.

Regularly scheduled inbound trains scheduled to depart between 6:05 a.m. and 11:06 a.m. will add stops and are subject to delays of up to 10 minutes to accommodate additional passenger loading. Similar adjustments will be made on outbound trains departing between 2:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

Alcohol is prohibited on all Metra trains on March 11, and there is an increased likelihood that bicycles cannot be accommodated.

More details are available on the Metra website.
