DENVER — HNTB Corporation, an infrastructure firm with expertise in transportation projects has appointed Katie Nees as the practice leader of its Denver office. Nees will be responsible for infrastructure projects at the Denver Regional Transportation District and the Denver International Airport.

She has held positions as growth officer and a senior vice president since joining HNTB in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, she served as director of the strategic projects division of the Texas Department of Transportation where she is responsible for six sections within the division and for capital projects totaling $28 million.

She has more than 35 years of transportation and infrastructure experience.

HNTB Corp. is an infrastructure firm that works with public and private sector businesses and contractors. The firm specializes in technical, financial and operational challenges associated with complex infrastructure projects.
