MONTREAL — Railroad conductors on Canadian National will benefit from more pay and employee benefit improvements after the railroad reached a labor agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference.

While specific details of the agreement were withheld pending official ratification, railroad officials say the wage increases and employee benefits will affect approximately 3,000 railroad conductors and yard crews.

“This agreement is a testament to the benefits of relationship building and we look forward to continuing to foster this relationship moving forward,” says Mike Cory, executive vice president and chief operating officer at CN.
