A new rail industry grade pit jack debuted by RAM Corp. has the ability to lift up to 20,000 pounds.
RAM Corp.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — RAM Corp., a Nashville-based hydraulics company, is introducing a new pit jack for the rail industry. The four-stage pit jack can lift up to 2,000 pounds with 45 psi of air pressure. Using an air operated pump that generates the necessary oil pressure, the jack can be adjusted to lift up to 20,000 pounds using higher oil pressure.

According to RAM officials, a flow control system determines how fast or slow the jack lowers for safety. The jack has the ability to rotate 360 degrees and has brakes on four of the six heavy-duty casters for added protection and stability. The jack’s platform can also be customized and easily changed out for use on different equipment.

RAM Corp. is a small company specializing in the field of hydraulics, cylinders, valves, and other commercial grade industrial equipment.
