OTTAWA, Ontario — The Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers will host its annual National Railway Day conference in Ottawa on Nov. 7.

Commemorating the anniversary of the day that the last spike was driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway at Craigellachie, British Columbia, the group’s conference theme will be: Canada — a leader in the global rail revolution.

Confirmed speakers include Mary Proc, vice president of customer service delivery at Toronto’s Metrolinx, Scott Streiner, chair and CEO of the Canadian Transportation Agency, and other leaders from rail infrastructure investment groups and local transportation leaders.

The Westin of Ottawa will host the day conference.

More information on the association is available online.
