DALLAS — RailcarRX, a cloud-based technology company that helps schedule freight car repairs now supports the billing format of railcar fleet company TTX.

The business decision will allow RailcarRX’s repair shop management system to assist repair shops in performing billing on TTX pooled equipment. According to RailcarRX, TTX has unique billing requirements for railcar repairs.

As part of the new arrangement, RailcarRX is streamlining the process of creating repair cards for TTX equipment by allowing repair shops to do bulk updates on data that is required prior to billing. It will also eliminate the need to manually enter data or make duplicate entries when entering railcar data and billing information using the company’s digital platform.

RailcarRX managers say that railcar pool billing has been a challenging task for many repair shops and the new enhancements will help customers bill faster and more efficiently.

RailcarRX is a cloud-based technology company that works with railcar owners and repair shops on scheduled repairs and billing. TTX is a railcar fleet company managing more than 230,000 railcars and intermodal wells.
