CN, labor group ratify new contract for signals and communications workers

MONTREAL — Canadian National and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers System Council 11 has reached a new five-year labor agreement that will bring annual wage increases and new benefits to approximately 700 signals and communications workers.

The agreement is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2017 and runs through Dec. 31, 2021.

The labor council represents more than 1,400 railroad workers in signals and communications.
