KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Lehigh & New England Railroad Preservation Society will be hosting a train ride, lunch, and slide show at the Allentown & Auburn Railroad in June. The preservation society’s recently acquired L&NE Alco S2 No. 611 will also be on display.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with a train ride from Kutztown to Topton and back. Along the way, the train will stop for a picnic lunch. Once back at the station there will be several slideshows about the L&NE and various memorabilia on display. Tickets for the event cost $35. All proceeds go toward the restoration of No. 611.
