SEPTA
PHILADELPHIA — The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority is debuting a new electronic bid system that can be used for project solicitations that exceed $100,000. The "eBid" system supplements eQuote, which is the agency’s existing system for projects less than $100,000.

The agency hopes the new eBid system will simplify the procurement process.

While the agency is adopting new technologies, it is still committed to connecting local businesses to one another and the agency, said SEPTA representatives in a recent news release.

On April 25, the agency will host a networking event at its headquarters in Philadelphia. Public and private sector attendees will be able to network with small, minority, and women-owned businesses that are interested in doing business with SEPTA.
