WASHINGTON — The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association has launched a new short line education fund to help address rail industry training and certification needs and build an archive of industry-specific research and training materials.

The new fund is expected to help build a new curriculum for a railroad executive leadership, expand webinar production abilities, develop an online resource tool that offers tests and certifications through test templates, create new communication tools to network with industry partners, and offer advocacy tools related to research and communication.
