CP, union reach tentative agreement for administrative support, intermodal workers

CALGARY, Alberta — Canadian Pacific and United Steelworkers Local 1976 have reached a tentative 5-year labor agreement involving approximately 600 administrative support and intermodal workers in Canada.

In a news release issued by the railroad, CP President and CEO Keith Creel congratulated the union for its constructive negotiating and leadership at the bargaining table.

Details of the tentative agreement are being withheld until ratified by the labor organization’s local membership. The current contract expires on December 31.
