ROANOKE, Va. — The Virginia Museum of Transportation is hosting a special train lovers’ day on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will include local train rides by the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society and others games and crafts for kids. The museum will also host a store yard sale.

Railroad enthusiasts will be on hand to share information about Norfolk & Western Class A 2-6-6-4 No. 1218, Class G1 2-8-0 No. 6, and Class Y6a 2-8-8-2 No. 2156.
