BROWNSVILLE, Texas – OmniTRAX Inc., is partnering with private industrial developers to build a series of warehouses on a 200-acre land inside the GEOTRAC Industrial Hub at the Port of Brownsville.

The partnership calls for the development of up to 2.8-million square feet of warehouse space in the next 15 years that could be used by wholesale distributors and other businesses. The company’s Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway would serve the facilities.

OmniTRAX officials say the Port of Brownsville is ideal because it is going through a commercial resurgence as a result of its proximity to Mexico and access to the Gulf of Mexico.
