HURST, Texas — A rail industry company specializing in track maintenance and right-of-way technology is now offering software-hosting services for positive train control systems. Herzog Technologies Inc. says its new Herzog PTC Hosting system offers system back up, server, and other hosting services for PTC systems being deployed by railroads across the country.

On its website, Herzog says it has been granted access to a nationwide railroad PTC network and is currently working to establish connections between the company and federated railroads. The new system, along with other PTC-related service is aimed at helping railroads meet federal regulations without committing large capital or prolonged setup times, the company says.

The new system was designed and created by Herzog Technologies in collaboration with other technology partners.
