JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — CSX Transportation is being recognized as one of the best places to work in the field of information technology. The Class I railroad recently ranked No. 41 in IDG Computerworld’s Brest Place to Work in IT. It is the railroad’s fourth consecutive year to receive the honor.

“CSX is proud to have created an environment in which our people feel empowered and challenged by their work,” says Kathleen Brandt, chief information officer at CSX.

Each year, Computerworld ranks the top 100 companies based on criteria such as benefits, career development, training and retention. The organization also conducts surveys with workers in the IT field.
