ROCKHILL FURNACE, Pa. – During the annual Fall Reunion of the Friends of the East Broad Top, Oct. 11-13, the East Broad Top Railroad will again operate a train to thank the volunteers that have continued their restoration work on the Rockhill Furnace shops and rolling stock. In October 2012, the railroad operated a similar train, the only operation of the railroad that year.

In addition to the train to Colgate Grove, handcar rides and tours of the shops with operating machinery demonstrations are planned, along with a variety of programs, site visits, and model railroading clinics. Activities begin on Oct. 11 at 5 p.m., with events continuing on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All events are open only to registered members of the Friends of the East Broad Top Railroad. For further information, go to www.febt.org.
