Peru 2017 Tour

The Ultimate Peruvian Railway Experience

Tour Peru with Trains magazine in 2017! In Part One of our tour, we will travel the Andes Mountains, traversing 58 bridges, 69 tunnels, and 13 zigzags — all on an exclusive, private charter. Special Interest Tours and Trains magazine are teaming up with the FCCA (Ferrocarril Central Andino) to offer this VIP experience, an exclusive tour with railroad photography opportunities that cannot be duplicated. The FCCA charter will journey on segments of track that are not available to the public, and travel at a pace for guests to fully appreciate the route. The FCCA is said to be the “highest and hardest” railway and one of the “railway wonders of the world.” To experience this in person at this pace is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any trains enthusiast.

In Part Two, we'll travel iconic Peru by rail. We'll start this leg of the tour in the town of Puno on beautiful Lake Titicaca.
