Varnish
A slang term for a passenger car or a passenger train, derived from the coats of glossy varnish applied to wood passenger cars.

Viaduct
Long bridges built of a series of relatively short spans that cross predominantly over land. (Long-length short span bridge structures that cross water only are called bridges.) Concrete viaducts are composed of a series of reinforced concrete or masonry arches, having high supporting towers or piers; steels viaducts are made up of short spans carried on high steel towers.
